Orangevale Play Garden lovingly welcomes children beginning at 18 months, offering a gentle, nurturing environment inspired by Waldorf and Reggio Emilia philosophies. We believe young children learn best through play, rhythm, relationships, and hands-on exploration, especially when they are free to connect deeply with the natural world around them. At OVPG Muddy boots are celebrated, imaginations run wild, and childhood is honored.

 Days at Orangevale Play Garden are filled with open-ended play, storytelling, art, music, and LOTS of outdoor exploration. Children are encouraged to wonder, create, climb, dig, and discover—building confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of self along the way. Nature is our classroom, play is our work, and each child’s ideas and interests help guide our days. 

 With warmth, intention, and a sprinkle of magic, we create a space where children feel safe to be curious, capable, and completely themselves. At Orangevale Play Garden, childhood is meant to be unhurried, joyful, and rooted in wonder.
